Application settings configuration
The application settings can only be configured if Password Database is unlocked. When editing the settings, you can do the following:
- set the time when the application is launched;
- enable notifications;
- specify the user name that will be used by default when creating a new account;
- set the time when the password was stored in clipboard;
- create a list of frequently used accounts;
- create a list of ignored websites, for which Kaspersky Password Manager functions are not used;
- create a list of trusted websites for which Kaspersky Password Manager will allow readdressing;
- specify a key combination to quickly launch Kaspersky Password Manager functions;
- change the path for storing Password Database, backup copies;
- change data encryption method;
- set automatic locking of Password Database;
- change Master Password;
- set Access to Password Database;
- change the location of Caption Button, create a list of applications, supporting Caption Button;
- create a list of supported applications.
To edit the Kaspersky Password Manager’s settings, please do the following:
- Open the main application window.
- In the bottom part of the window, click the Kaspersky Password Manager button.
- In the window that opens, click the Settings button.
- In the Kaspersky Password Manager window that opens, select the section to be edited.
- In the right part of the window, enter the changes to the settings for the chosen section.
